Their quality is actually very good. It’s not a typical ayce. Yes, there are some typical buffet food items taste typical and mediocre, but their signature unique food items are really good. Fresh. I enjoyed their wide selection as well as unique asian desserts that are not typically found in other ayce restaurants. I recommend this buffet to others.
I went here for my birthday on Saturday, excellent choices of food I enjoyed every bit, never been to a restaurant before and the Manger, walking around and greeting the guests and asking if everything is going well. I'm definitely going back this coming weekend. Keep up the great work
It took my group of five about 10 minutes to get a seat on the Victoria Day holiday, so I definitely recommend making an advance reservation, especially if it's a holiday or a weekend. The first thing that caught my attention at Dragon Pearl is the aesthetics of the restaurant, such that you can't wait to take a walk around to soak it all in. But you wouldn't because the food spread, the constant refilling of the spread, the other guests walking around with plates—all invite you to take a seat and savour the one and half hour all-you-can-eat buffet experience. For the quality and service, the price and drive down to Dragon Pearl is definitely worth it. I especially loved a mango dessert (black-looking pearls in a mango sauce - pictured) and had two servings of that alone! Someone from our group had their birthday, and we got a complimentary cake and birthday song from the staff. Definitely visiting again when I'm in Toronto!
I had a great experience at Dragon Pearl Buffet. The quality of the food was excellent—everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The selection was impressive, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including sushi, seafood, dim sum, and more. There’s definitely something for everyone! The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure plates were cleared quickly and drinks were refilled. The atmosphere was welcoming and spacious, making it a great spot for family gatherings or celebrations. Overall, Dragon Pearl Buffet offers a fantastic dining experience with great food, great variety, and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I visited Dragon Pearl Buffet this past Friday around noon. We arrived at 11:25 AM, just before they opened at 11:30, and there was already a line – a great sign of their popularity! The buffet had a fantastic variety of selections, including barbecue duck and sashimi for lunch. They also offer an afternoon tea for 38 per person, but we needed a reservation for that, so we went with the regular lunch buffet instead. Overall, it was a great experience. The interior decor is traditional Chinese with high ceilings, giving it a very nice ambiance. The service was fast, and all the dishes tasted fresh. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
I went for afternoon tea and it was exquisite! The afternoon tea dishes were all very well done and everything tasted great! You can pick 3 main courses and there’s unlimited side dishes and dessert. I think the afternoon tea was definitely worth it. The normal buffet is also included but the normal buffet was just average, it includes Peking duck and others but overall that was just okay so it’s better to come for afternoon tea. Photos attached are from the afternoon tea only
I recently visited Dragon Pearl for a weekend dinner, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I could sense the upscale ambiance and attention to detail. The staff was attentive and kept everything well stocked, making my dining experience smooth and enjoyable. My favourite dishes were the steamed lobster, roast beef, and fresh sushi. The lobster was perfectly cooked and came with just the right amount of sweetness. The roast beef was juicy and tender, and I found myself going back for seconds. The sushi selection was also impressive, with bright flavours and quality ingredients. I could tell the buffet focused on fresh meats and seafood, and I appreciated the variety. The restaurant provided a comfortable setting where I could take my time sampling different dishes without feeling rushed. I left with the feeling that every bite was crafted with care. Although it can be a bit of a splurge, I would gladly return for a special occasion or simply whenever I want to treat myself. I am already planning to come back with four paying friends in hopes of scoring a free meal. Overall, Dragon Pearl offers an upscale Chinese buffet experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a memorable time.
I got a chance to try their Afternoon Tea Set. For 42 pp, it’s a really good deal! Only drawback is that it’s only on weekdays. The weekends and holidays are not included. The set also includes complimentary house tea so you already have drinks covered. If you wanted more premium teas or other drinks, it’ll be additional costs. The set includes AYCE small dishes, cold dishes and desserts. And we’re not talking about the food you get at their buffets! It’s a separate menu and they present their food in a very exquisite way. The main dishes you get to choose 3 of 6 dishes and includes food like crab and lobster, abalone, caviar, duck, Wagyu beef and scallop, so YES NOT TOO SHABBY! If you can afford to take a day off your 9-5 job or make some time out for a lunch to enjoy the afternoon tea, I highly recommend trying it!
